A LIVING LEGEND: MR.BHATT SIR
I entered Boys’ School and was busy in thoughts of entering a new zone,
I was surprised to hear my name being called by a teacher in a pleasant friendly tone,
It was just 3-4 hours being here and how my name was known,
I was so happy by this that you won’t imagine where actually I had flown.
We loved the way he taught us moral science and general knowledge,
How special we felt when he replied to our greetings and with our names he would acknowledge,
The way he worked hard with the weak boys was nothing less than haulage,
His stress on OG traditions made us realize these were part of OG’s rich heritage.
Slowly and slowly by the passing of time we came to know,
He was not only teaching us moral science and G.K but also prepared the boys for yoga show,
How wisely he guided us and to cope up with worldly problems as we grow,
He was always seen going for morning walk whether it was hail storm, rain or snow.
Then in the middle of Boys’ School life he started teaching us economics,
Let me make this very clear to everyone that he was away from all kinds of school politics,
I had an argument with one of the senior teacher on some topics,
Unlike other teachers he discouraged my attitude on any part of tropics.
We were lucky to be taught by him economics and inflation,
He prepared many sets of questions for Board Exams preparation,
Without disturbing anyone to find us he roamed different location,
He was so calm while teaching that we never saw any kind of frustration.
Without any doubt he was not only teacher but a true mentor,
What all I mention here it would take me long years,
Whenever I remember him, my eyes are filled with tears,
I want to go back I want to learn from him believe me I swear.
