Sitting in a circle on the valley grass with my boys,
Here is a bunch of guys who doesn’t like toys,
Before every match we are worked hard and we were poise,
Beating the opponents in every department without any noise.

Start with my junior school mate and who happened to be my deputy,
My burden was reduced to find Pranjal actively fulfilling his responsibility,
Any department be it batting, bowling, or fielding,
Excuse me! Whenever team needed him, he donned the gloves of wicket-keeping.

Rahul Chauhan was all pumped and ready to open bowling with me,
Azhar Hussain was an active wicket-keeper always giving special inputs by hand-gesture at me,
Imran was well comfortable standing at slip,
Any ball nicked in his direction was well caught in his grip.

It was beauty watching the opener Dharamveer’s batting,
Comes my bowling and you would see wickets rattling,
Pleasure was Padam Singh’s innings against Roshanara Club,
With solid middle order batsman Mohit could be spot on any hub.

Kamal was always a good finisher and with ball he was bonus,
Hard to forget Rahul Aswal’s temperament and focus,
Don’t underestimate the presence of Kumar Gaurav as cocus,
So we were the topic of discussion and it was not hocus.

A team with right level of attitude and perfect aggression,
Always had Roshanara Club’s match in possession,
It was nice to sail on victory against The Asian School,
We always had fun and won all the matches with cool.

Thanx to all my boys for supporting me and answered my every call,
How we defeated Roshanara Club easily and stood tall,
Rivalry against them was no less than Ashes heat,
After a long gap we were the team to achieve this feat.

Before I sum up my poem on behalf of whole team would like to pay tribute,
A man who sacrificed everything for the upliftment of sports and loved to contribute,
Salute to our PTI cum Cricket Coach Mr Juyal Sir,
You will remain in our heart and your valuable tips will guide us forever.
